Program Features

•    A stand-alone credential in its own right, each COLLABORATIVE CERTIFICATE is a milestone of professional advancement; and, for interested and eligible employees, it also is a springboard to a corresponding academic degree at NJIT or elsewhere.

•     Regarding the collaborative aspect of this program, management of the participating organization is invited to become an integral part of the continuing education process by collaborating with NJIT on the selection of Certificate courses and the customization of course(s) or aspects of course(s). 

•      The stand-alone credential can be completed in a time frame consistent with the organization’s wishes which can be as rapid as one calendar year through agreed upon scheduling of lock-step courses.

•      Each of the courses in a Certificate can be offered on the organization’s premises for a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 30 students per class. On-the-premises instruction, in turn, can be achieved either in the organization’s classrooms or videoconferencing rooms.  Other formats are available and can be entirely online and / or a blend of online delivery and video and audio podcasting.

•      To ensure ready availability to all academic and support services, students can access information online from a website specifically designed for them.

•     To ensure smooth operations from the perspective of management, designated representatives can oversee all aspects of on-going program activity through accessing a specially-designed, web-based portal with a Personal Identification Number (PIN).
