Definition of NJIT Academic Certificates

An NJIT Graduate Certificate is a stand-alone credential comprised of four pre-selected NJIT graduate courses worth 12 academic credits in all.
An NJIT Undergraduate Certificate is a stand-alone credential comprised of six pre-selected NJIT undergraduate courses worth 18 academic credits. The individual academic courses that comprise a certificate are themselves either constituents of the curriculum of a particular NJIT Master or Bachelor of Science Degree program or are customized by NJIT to meet an organization’s specific requirements.
